Control System for Water Treatment Plant

Oosterweel Left Bank
During the construction works on Oosterweel Left Bank, a temporary water treatment installation (WZI) was required to safely discharge pumped groundwater into the Scheldt. The water contained PFOS contamination, which had to be removed using activated carbon filters. Infrasoft was responsible for the complete control and monitoring of the installation, which was modulairly built using containers. Thanks to integrated automation, central monitoring, and remote management, the treatment process could be carried out efficiently and safely, with minimal on-site interventions.

The approach ensured that the extracted groundwater was correctly treated and that the installation could easily scale along with the needs of the construction site. The project illustrates how Infrasoft applies its expertise to support complex infrastructure and environmental projects.

With smart automation, we make complex water treatment simple.
